In October of 2009, virtually the entire membership of a local chapter of an international networking group decided to disband the group as they felt they could be more productive as a group without the sanctions, edicts and expenses associated with those types of “for profit” organizations. They felt the need for a more personalized, less corporate networking group.

Within two weeks, the group had re-formed their own independent referrals organization now known as PRO - Professional Referrals Organization in Camarillo. The result was a highly focused, successful referral group based on mutual cooperation and personal responsibility.
